I'm not really sure what's happening with me this week. I think my body is ready for Friday (aka the weekend). All week I've been thinking it was a day ahead. Yesterday I thought it was Wednesday and today I kept thinking it was Thursday. I have been thinking this so much that today I asked my Thursday pencil passes to pass the pencils. They started and then one kid was like "Mrs. Michelle, today is Wednesday, I thought I passed on Wednesday." CAUGHT! Just 2 more days and then my 3 day weekend will be here! I hope my poor body and mind can make it!
Also, I have to brag on Nate a little. :) (I'm allowed, right?) He called me yesterday and told me that he passed the bar exam on the first try!! I am one proud wife!!!

Hello World!
I've been thinking about starting a blog for a while now and have finally decided to do it! I wish I could say what I'll use it for and what kind of (probably useless) information I'll divulge, but I'm just not sure.
If you're reading this, you probably know most of what I'm going to tell now, but humor me and read it anyway! :) Here's a snapshot of where I (Shellzinha) and my husband Nathan (Amorzão) are in our lives right now.
Nate and I met in the summer of 2008 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, dated for almost 3 years long-distance
We finally tied the knot June 22, 2011.
I graduated from college in May 2011 and moved to Brazil with about half of my belongings (I quickly learned that I have too much stuff!). I am a kindergarten teacher in an international Christian school in Rio. I have 15 students from 9 different countries. 6 different languages are represented in my classroom. Needless to say, everyday is an adventure! Nate is finishing up his law degree (graduating in December) and is searching for God's plans for his future.
We have a 9 month old Shih-Tzu who is FULL of energy. Life is never dull with Negueba around!
That's where life is right now for us. Stay tuned for random updates on this crazy cross-cultural life we life!
